Activities and Programs
For our active residents, there's plenty to do here at Cardinal Ridge Residential Care. From trips to nearby restaurants to joining social groups, our guests can meet their neighbors and become part of the community. Our activities and assisted living programs offer an array of activities, include:

- Volunteer and mentoring opportunities
All our residents are encouraged to participate in activities and friends and family members are always welcome to join in.
Scheduled Transportation Available
Scheduled transportation is offered to take our residents to doctor's appointments, as well as out for lunch or simply a ride in the country. Transportation is also provided for special monthly field trips and outings.
Affordable Necessities and Personal Items
Cardinal Ridge Residential Care also offers a wide selection of competitively priced personal products that you can purchase and have delivered to your door. For your convenience, your purchases can also be billed to you.

Our Pharmacy Services
Also, in conjunction with local pharmacies specializing in senior health care, we can help manage medications, including Alzheimer's medication. Rest peacefully knowing that your loved one is taking the right prescriptions at the right times each day.
In partnership with your physician, our provider pharmacists evaluate drug interactions and make appropriate recommendations. Our pharmacists also look for ways to decrease any dependency as appropriate. All prescriptions are delivered directly to Cardinal Ridge Residential Care. Maintenance medications come in a 30-day cycle.
Short-Term Stay and Respite Care
You can take advantage of our short-stay or respite care options and stay for just a week in your own private furnished room, or even stay as long as it takes to fully experience the Cardinal Ridge lifestyle.
You will also receive the same services all residents enjoy during your stay. If you are being discharged from the hospital or nursing home, but still need rehabilitation, short-stay or respite care is the perfect option to help you transition from the hospital to your home.
All residents, including those in our short-term stay program, receive a service care plan to provide the services they need, including:
- Assistance with medication
- Assistance with reminders and redirection
- Assistance with walking
- Behavior management
- Continence care
- Daily assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Diabetic management
- Dining assistance, including special diets
- Respiratory care
- Transfer assistance
Home health and hospice assistance are available too.
In addition to staying in one of our fully furnished private rooms, short-term stay residents participate in our daily activity program and have access to scheduled transportation to medical appointments. For your peace of mind, certified nursing assistants are on staff.

Special Medical Care
At Cardinal Ridge Residential Care, we partner with our residents' physicians to ensure routine lab work and preventative health maintenance checkups are completed. We also provide the following health monitoring programs:
- Blood pressure (weekly or daily, if physician ordered)
- Blood sugar monitoring (as ordered by the physician)
- Catheter care services
- Foot care services
- Hospice and home health care services
- Insulin supervision or administration (if ordered by the physician)
- Medication management
- Oxygen services, including ordering supplies, cleaning equipment and health monitoring
- Weights (weekly or daily, if physician ordered)
